It was a great day, if you're a worm... Today's steady rain will taper off after midnight. The colder temperatures gave things a real "raw" feel. We'll salvage the weekend with a drier, but still cool day on Sunday. Highs will bounce back to near 50°.

Spring will be in the air for the final days of winter. Next week begins with a mix of sun and clouds and a high near 60°. Temperatures will continue to warm and race towards 70° by the end of the week. The springtime warmth will also bring increasing chances for showers and storms. A few showers will be possible Tuesday. There will be better chances for storms through the end of the week. Flooding may become a concern given the upcoming rain and the already present saturated soil. Spring officially begins on Thursday at 11:50 PM.
