LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Lexington's Trick-or-Treat has moved to Saturday, according to city officials.
The new time will be Saturday, Nov. 2 from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. Lexington joins other cities across central Kentucky that have moved due to inclement weather.
“I’m erring on the side of caution,” Mayor Linda Gorton said. “The weather forecast for Thursday remains uncertain. On Saturday, children can trick-or-treat earlier to take advantage of the daylight, and the forecast is clear. ”
If you are going trick-or-treating that afternoon, you will want to dress warmly. According to LEX 18's StormTracker Meteorologists, the high temperature is expected to be 45 degrees.
Fayette Mall announced that they will continue to host their Trick or Treat inside of the shopping center on Thursday, October 31 from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m.
