Who's ready for a break from the heat, tropical humidity, and storms? Then check out this week's forecast. A cold front is on it's way through the Commonwealth. In the process it has sparked another round of heavy rain-making thunderstorms. The isolated to scattered activity will come to an end tonight. Then the changes roll in.

The week starts off with a (brief) break from the heat and humidity. Monday's high will drop back into the low mid 80s. Humidity levels will go from tropical and oppressive to tolerable. (It would take a very strong front to wipe out all of the humidity at this stage of the summer.) The muggies will creep back in and highs near 90° will come blazing in mid-week. Our typical summertime weather will stick around through next weekend. For the most part we'll be storm-free this week. Isolated storms possible late Wednesday into Thursday.
