LEXINGTON, KY- — Kentucky took advantage of a 17-0 run in the first half to take a 43-23 halftime lead over Fairleigh Dickinson. UK won the game 83-52.
The Knights were hanging around down 18-to-13 when Kentucky picked up the intensity and began to run away with it.
Balance was the key word for Kentucky in the first half. All eight Wildcats who saw the floor scored for Kentucky. E.J. Montgomery Led the way with 14 points on 7-10 shooting. Immanuel Quickley chipped in seven.
In the second half it was no different. Montgomery dominated and Kentucky had no issues with the Knights.
The 25 points scored by Montgomery is a new career-high and comes after his previous career-high of 16 against UAB.
