DANVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18) — A CBD processing company is planning a new $6 million manufacturing plant in Boyle County.
According to a release from the governor's office, International Farmaceutical Extracts will buy a nearly 12,000 square foot facility in Danville, Kentucky.
The company will then use the facility to extract and distill up to 5,000 pounds of CBD oil from industrial hemp every day.
The company plans to create more than 30 full time jobs over the course of a decade.
