LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX NEWS) — Jack Tucker started working at Palumbo Lumber Company on March 1, 1957.
On August 13, the U.S. Army veteran celebrated his 98th birthday at the Lexington business with his family and co-workers. He also announced his retirement after nearly 70 years with the company.
Mayor Linda Gorton presented Tucker with a plaque declaring it "Jack Tucker Day" in Lexington.
