LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Deuce, a two-legged dog who defied all obstacles and found a new home, will be saying goodbye at a “Doggone” event.

You may remember Deuce from our Making A Difference segment. The pup has two legs both on the right side of his body. He was found badly injured in a ditch in April and both of his legs on his left side were broken and badly infected.

His family at the Camp Jean Dog Rescue wanted to find him a home where he could work with amputees.  Their dreams came true with Deuce was adopted by a family that works with a local children’s hospital.

Tonight, a party will be held in Deuce’s honor at Camp Jean Rescue. For a donation, fans can get a “pawtograph” from the wonder dog himself.

While we are so excited to see what Deuce’s future has in store, we are gonna miss the little guy.

We’re not crying.
