LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Emergency crews responded early Tuesday after multiple vehicles crashed on the city's north side.
Officials were called out just around 7 a.m. to Russell Cave Road and Hughes Lane.
Lexington police tell LEX 18 that one vehicle hydroplaned off the roadway and crashed into a fence. Then, police said, a vehicle that witnessed the first crash was rear-ended by another vehicle.
One person was taken to an area hospital with a small laceration to the head, police said.
Russell Cave Road was closed for about an hour but since has reopened.
