November ushered in the first freeze of the season and Lexington's coldest morning since April 1st. The Halloween cold front will keep us on the chilly side this weekend. There will be freezing mornings with lows in the mid to upper 20s. Meanwhile afternoons will be brisk and bright. The near-peak fall foliage should really pop against the blue sky! Also, don't forget Daylight Saving Time ends early Sunday morning. Turn your clocks *back* one hour before you go to bed Saturday night.
Temperatures will moderate into next week. Highs will run close to 50° degrees this weekend then climb through the 50s and near 60° by Election Day. The trend keeps us seasonably cool through next week before the next cold snap arrives. Temperatures could plunge back into the 40s for highs by this time next week.
