LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — There are only a few hours left in the University of Kentucky's annual DanceBlue marathon, where thousands of students stand and dance for 24 hours straight.

The event is a fundraiser for the Gold Matrix Fund, which benefits the DanceBlue Hematology and Oncology Clinic at the Kentucky Children's Hospital.

Money is raised for DanceBlue throughout the year, and it goes toward pediatric research, staff at the DanceBlue Clinic, and items like gas cards and food vouchers for patient's families.

Supporters can attend the event until 8:00 p.m. Sunday night, and must enter Memorial Coliseum through the Lexington Avenue entrance.

Donations can be made through cash or check at the Coliseum. Online donations can be made here.
