Did the rest of your leaves come down following the bitter cold and snow this week? This weekend will give you plenty of opportunities to clean up your yard. We'll keep it dry from start to finish, but it will stay brisk.

A storm system is currently moving up the East Coast and bringing widespread rain, strong winds, and high surf in the process. This very system will bypass the Bluegrass but it will temperatures on the chilly side and allow some clouds to hang around on Saturday. Highs will only be in the mid 40s again. The low will reach New England by late in the weekend and this will improve our weather big time. Beginning Sunday high temperatures return to the 50s! Temperatures will continue pushing towards "normal" through the middle of next week. All the while the pattern remains rather tranquil. The only little hiccup will be a weak front that passes through on Tuesday. Our skies will go mostly cloudy and there's a chance for stray showers. High pressure will take over for a day. There are better rain chances waiting at the end of the week along with another cool down.
