MERCER COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A family is left without a home in Mercer County on Sunday after an early morning fire.
The fire happened around 5 a.m. on Sparrow Lane.
Firefighters told LEX 18 that the father in the home woke up to the smell of smoke.
The father then grabbed his baby while his wife called 911.
All three family members got out of the home safely, but the home was engulfed in flames by the time first responders arrived.
There is no word on what caused the fire.
