Fifth horse dies at Keeneland during 2019 Fall Meet

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Another horse died at Keeneland on Sunday, bringing the total up to five horse deaths during the 2019 fall meet season.

According to an incident report on Keeneland's website, a three-year-old horse named Call to Victory sustained a catastrophic injury to its' right front limb.

The last day of racing is on Saturday.

Four horses also died during the Spring meet, making a total of 9 horse deaths at Keeneland this year.
