FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) — President Donald Trump is ordering all American and state flags to be lowered to half-staff immediately at public office buildings.
This is to honor the victims and their families of the tragedies in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio.
Governor Matt Bevin's office released a statement, saying all individuals, businesses and organizations are encouraged to join in this tribute.
The flags will be lowered to half-staff until sunset on Thursday.
