LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Flooding has been reported in several counties as rain swamped the Commonwealth on Saturday.

The Brodhead Fire Department and Perryville Fire Department each posted on their Facebook pages about flooding in Rockcastle County and Boyle County.

A picture shows Main Street in Brodhead under what appears to be a few feet of water.

The Perryville Fire Department was reminding people to turn around, don't drown. They posted a picture showing water covering the roadway on Smith Street between East Second and Third.

The Facebook post also said North Bragg has standing water across both lanes, and there are several county roads with standing or flowing water in one or both lanes.

The National Weather Service was also reporting high water in parts of Madison, Garrard and Lincoln Counties.
