FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) — Some Frankfort Police Officers got a surprise "thank you" over the weekend.
Officers were eating at a Pizza Inn Saturday when some people left a note on the table for the officers. The note reads, "Two young ladies and myself appreciate what you officers do every day! Thank you very much for serving and protecting our community. To show our appreciation, we are honored to buy your dinners. It's the least we can do."
"It means a lot I think we do have a good partnership with the community. We're blessed to have such a great community, that cares they way they do," said Captain Dustin Bowman of the Frankfort Police Department.
Bowman said that it would be great to put a face with a name to the stranger, but he understands that the person may want to remain anonymous.
