FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18) — While the world confronts the coronavirus outbreak, social distancing is enforced to keep people safe.
Unfortunately, many life events and celebrations are on hold for now, but some are trying to make the best of the challenges.
Frankfort Police Dept. Lt. Scott Tracy and Holly Kell had their wedding scheduled for Saturday April 4.
Because of the outbreak and social distancing, only the couple's parents, siblings, and Lt. Tracy's son were able to attend.
However, after the ceremony, they were in for a surprise.
With participation from Frankfort PD, friends and family held a surprise drive-by reception.
"I have to say that it was one of the best surprises to our day. We were bother touched so deeply. I am truly blessed to have such loving family and friends," said Tracy.
