BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Lexington teen is behind bars in southern Kentucky, accused by police of kidnapping and robbing two people.
19 year-old Deo Mpaka was arrested by police in Bowling Green on Thursday.
According to his arrest citation, he is accused of kidnapping two people in the past two weeks.
He then allegedly took each victim to ATM's, and forced them to withdraw cash to give to him.
The citation says he was accompanied by other people on both occasions.
He is being held without bond in the Warren County Jail.
