VERSAILLES, Ky. (LEX 18) — The visitation for Phyllis George will be held this afternoon.
The former Miss America and First Lady of Kentucky died last week at UK Hospital after battling a blood disorder.
Pamela Brown, George's daughter, posted that the Kentucky Castle in Versailles will be the site for the visitation.
It will be held on Saturday May 23 from 1:30 until 4:30 in the afternoon.
There will be guidelines consistent with COVID-19 restrictions during the visitation. According to the update from Brown, each person will be responsible for their own mask.
A private service will be held on Monday at 3:00 p.m. The service will be available for viewing on KET.org.
Phyllis George was 70 years old.
