(LEX 18) — Dumas Rescue is asking for help caring for a foal found on a strip mine.
According to a post of the rescue groups page, the foal was born to a mare abandoned on a strip mine and found by a Good Samaritan.
Reportedly the foal's prognosis is guarded and it is under the care of Highland Veterinary Clinic.
