Temps soar today, before the next cold front

It’s a rinse and repeat kind of day with plenty of sunshine and heat to go around. Temperatures are starting in the mid to upper 60s with a few 70s west of us. Visibility is doing ok, except for river valley fog. The MaxTrack is clear this morning. We start warm this morning and end hot. It will also be a humid one making it sort of unbearable in the sunshine. Seek shade often of spending a lot of time outdoors. Temperature will crest today near 90 degrees this afternoon. But the heat index will go into the 90s. Rain showers are back in the forecast thanks to a cold front Tuesday. We won’t get much in the way of a cool down, but the air will be more comfortable after the humidity gets cut.
