Body found in Jackson County identified

JACKSON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Jackson County Coroner's Office confirms that an investigation is underway after a body was found in a remote area.

Kentucky State Police said the body was discovered about 10 a.m. Sunday off Rock Lick Creek Road.

On Monday, KSP announced that the State Medical Examiner's Office identified the remains as those of Joseph Issacs, 54 of McKee, who was reported missing on Nov. 2.

Kentucky State Police are conducting a death investigation, anyone with information is asked to contact the KSP Richmond Post at 859-623-2404.
