LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Kentucky State Police says one person has died in a crash on I-64 in Franklin County.
It happened on Sunday evening and forced troopers to shut down the westbound side of the interstate near Midway and Versailles.
KSP officials say a semi-truck and two cars were involved.
The driver of one of those cars has died, according to KSP. Two others were taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries.
KSP troopers are still investigating the cause of the crash.
Officials tell us the road will likely remain closed for several hours.
