PIKE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Kentucky State Police are investigating a deadly house fire in Pike County.
The flames broke out after 7 p.m. Sunday at a home on Elkhorn Creek Road.
After the fire was knocked down, troopers searched the house and found a man dead.
The Pike County Coroner identified the man as 58-year-old Bennie Tackett from Elkorn Creek.
Troopers say the investigation is ongoing and foul play is not suspected.
