Kentucky State Police say that a murder investigation is underway after a body was found in the cab of a semi-truck on Tuesday.
The semi was parked in the Shell Mart parking lot on the corner of KY 627 and US 25 Monday evening. During the overnight hours, KSP says an incident occurred and the semi driver, 58-year-old Abdul R. Muzaki, was fatally injured.
Muzaki was pronounced dead at the scene and the body was taken to the State Medical Examiner's Office in Frankfort for an autopsy.
Kentucky State Police are asking that anyone who saw any suspicious activity near the exit 95 Shell mart off I-75 between 9 p.m on Monday and 5 p.m. on Tuesday is asked to call KSP Post 7 at 859.623.2404.
The investigation continues.
