MANCHESTER, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Clay County man has been arrested after allegedly shooting a family member.
Kentucky State Police were called around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday after a shooting on Crane Creek Road in Clay County. When troopers arrived, they say that two family members got into a fight and one was shot.
Troopers say Timmy Madden, 49 of Manchester, shot the victim. The victim was flown to UK Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Madden was arrested and charged with first degree assault.
