LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Kentucky Wildlife Center is hoping to raise money to buy an incubator before the busy spring baby season.
The non-profit kicked off the one-month fundraising campaign with an announcement on their Facebook page.
The Facebook post says that the a new incubator would help them raise orphaned wildlife this spring, with the potential to save 50+ babies each year.
They are asking for donations in order to get the equipment purchased before they really start getting busy. Spring time typically brings a major increase to their intake numbers due to a lot of animals mating or giving birth.
