LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Laurel County deputies are asking for help finding the man who robbed a hotel early Saturday morning.

Deputies say around 2:30 the robber walked into the front lobby of the Quality Inn hotel off Adams Road.

We're told the man jumped over the counter armed with a knife and took money from the cash register.

Deputies say he then forced the clerk into the breakfast area of the hotel threatening him, before taking off.

Police describe the robber as a white man wearing camo gloves, coveralls and a bandanna with two eye holes cut out.

If anyone has information you are asked to call the Laurel County Sheriff's Office.
