LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — One person is dead and three others are in the hospital after a crash in Laurel County.
It happened on US-25 around 2:45 p.m. on Saturday.
Deputies said Cheryl McCracken was driving a Ford car that was traveling southbound on US-25 when she lost control on the wet roadway. The car reportedly spun backwards and hit a northbound jeep on its front end.
McCracken was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
The driver and the passengers in the jeep were taken to the hospital with injuries.
