LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Laurel County man was arrested on Sunday morning following a deadly UTV crash.
Reportedly 24-year-old Jordan Obenauer of London was charged with murder after an investigation into the overnight wreck. Deputies say Obenauer was driving a 2016 Can-Am Maverick off U.S. 25 about 8 miles north of London when it crashed, resulting in the death of a 17-year-old passenger from Barbourville.
She reportedly was pronounced dead at the hospital. That person's name has not been released.
Deputies continue to investigate what caused the crash.
