Our third stop on our LEX18 Summer Reads tour, took us to the Woodford County Library, Midway Branch. A science teller, wearing a tie died lab coat, told a story about alien escapes, while acting out scenes, through crowd involved science experiments. This STEAM based summer program, included everything from arts and crafts to social interactions and scientific based fandoms. Meteorologist Jill Szwed read Freddy the Frogcaster in the Terrible Tornado to the children. Summer programs run through July 21st . Visit the Woodford County Library to register in person for new summer programs, signing up is free of charge.
