LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Lexington man was accused of multiple crimes -- including the violent rape of a 13-year-old girl -- after being arrested over the weekend.
Authorities say Terrance Suter was arrested Saturday night and held on spate of charges, some dating back to February.
Suter is accused of raping a 13-year-old girl causing injury. Police also say he also stole from a business and caused more than $1,000 in damages.
Police said that when officers tried to take Suter into custody on Saturday, he attempted to flee in a vehicle and nearly struck three officers in the process.
Suter was charged with rape, burglary and wanton endangerment of a police officer, among other charges.
