LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Lexington police have identified the man they say was caught on camera groping a fast food employee earlier this month.

Police say that on July 3, an officer was dispatched to the restaurant after an employee reported that a male customer made sexual advances towards the employee. Surveillance video showed that the man also grabbed the victim's buttocks, according to police.

The victim took a photo of the suspect as he left the restaurant, which police then shared online and on their website LexIDme.com [lexidme.com].

Less than a full day later, police reported receiving numerous tips through the online portal, which they used to identify the man in the photo. Police say charges are pending. They did not specify the charges, but they originally said he could be charged with sexual abuse 3rd.
