Lexington police investigate after man shot on south side

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police in Lexington were investigating after a shooting late Friday on the city's south side left one man injured.

Authorities say the the shots were fired about 10:30 p.m. along Loch Ness Drive near Nicholasville Road.

Police said they found a victim at the scene with one gunshot wound. Officials said the injuries were not life-threatening.

Authorities said the victim was not being cooperative with investigators, although he told them he had been shot by two men he did not know.
