Lexington Police investigating after car hit by bullets

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Lexington Police are investigating after a car was hit by bullets Tuesday.

Officers say that they received a call around 5:06 p.m. saying that shots had been fired near the Bryan Station Kroger. At first, responding officers did not find any evidence of a shooting.

Police say a car later appeared at the Metro PCS near East New Circle Road. The car had bullet holes in it.

A child was one of the occupants in the car. Police told LEX 18 that no injuries have been reported.

They have no suspects at this time.
