LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Lexington Police are investigating after an attempted-robbery led to a man being shot.
Police said it happened around 2:15 p.m. on Saturday on Eastland Parkway near Raleigh Road.
Police teold us the victim said he was sitting in his car when a man walked up to the car with a gun and demanded money. He said the man then shot him.
Reportedly the victim suffered a minor gunshot grazing wound and is expected to be okay.
The shooter is described as a light-skinned tall man wearing a bandanna over his face and a black hoodie.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
