LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Firefighters say lightning may have sparked a fire at a home in Lexington's Beaumont neighborhood.
The flames broke out around 5 p.m. Wednesday afternoon on Chasewood Way near Beaumont Center Lane. The fire chief says a neighbor saw lightning strike the house just before the fire started.
Five people were home at the time and had just moved in. The fire was contained to the attic and no one was hurt but the family had to find another place to stay last night.
