(LEX 18) — Local Catholic priest, Father Jim Sichko, is scheduled to meet with Eastern Kentucky coal miners on Monday that were recently affected by the black jewel mining bankruptcy.
Hundreds of people were affected and paychecks for the last pay period bounced.
Sichko tweeted that he will help pay for expenses for those affected.
Sichko asked that those interested bring in a pay stub and a missed utility bill.
