Louisville man drives to fire station after being shot

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) — A Louisville man drove himself to the Louisville Fire Department for help after he said he had been shot, according to WAVE.

The shooting was reported to MetroSafe around 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. WAVE reported that Major Bobby Cooper, a public information officer for Louisville Fire, said the shooting victim drove his own car to the station located at 12th Street and Jefferson Street.

When the victim arrived at the station, he received immediate help and then was taken to the University of Louisville Hospital.

According to WAVE, the shooting is under investigation by Louisville Metro Police Department.
