Man accused of threatening judge, police chief

HAZARD, Ky. (LEX 18) - — A Perry County man is in jail after police say he threatened a circuit court judge and the Hazard police chief.

According to officials, Jimmy Dunn called Perry County 911 dispatch and stated that he was planning on killing the Perry Circuit Judge. Moments later, the same subject called back and threatened to kill Hazard's chief of police.

The number was traced to Jimmy Dunn of Raccoon Creek Road in Hazard. He was charged with two counts of terroristic threatening.

Dunn was lodged in in the KY River Regional Jail.
