LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A man accused of almost hitting a Lexington police officer with a car has been arrested.
Police said that on Friday just after 9 a.m., officers were investigating a car occupied by Brian Wilson and a woman at the Speedway gas station on Georgetown Road.
While running Wilson's information, he allegedly backed up and forced the officer to jump out of harms way.
LEX 18 was told that Wilson sped away, but later crashed into another car on Price Road and Georgetown Street.
The officers started to chase Wilson on foot across several active railroad tracks.
Wilson was arrested shortly after and has been faced with 15 charges, according to the Lexington Fayette Detention Center website.
