LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) — A Tennessee man was arrested at Kentucky Kingdom amusement park after police say he left his small dog inside a hot car.
According to WAVE 3 News, Issac Talavera is accused of leaving his dog inside his vehicle on a 92 degree day. Police were called to the Kentucky Expo Center parking lot for the report of a dog in distress. Officers broke a window and took the dog to a cool place to give it some water.
The dog, police say, was in obvious distress and limp.
Talavera was charged with second degree cruelty to animals. The dog was handed over to animal control officers.
