LONDON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A man was arrested on Sunday after police were called to a residence to a complaint of a possible burglary.
Matthew Bubacz, 58, was arrested on KY 490, six miles north of London, Kentucky.
The call came to police after a nearby homeowner heard noises inside a nearby building. When police arrived, they found that the building had signs of forced entry.
Deputies entered the building and found Bubacz hiding behind a mattress.
Deputies found that Bubacz had ran an extension cord from the residence to the building for electric.
Bubacz has been charged with burglary in the third degree and has been taken to the Laurel County Corrections Center.
