WHITLEY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A man charged in connection with a homicide in Whitley County was back in court Monday morning for a preliminary hearing.
Police were called to a home on Betty West Road near Williamsburg last month.
When they arrived, officers found 58-year-old Wanda Richardson lying partially in the road, bleeding from her head. Police say her nephew, Michael Worley, was spotted running away.
Richardson later died from her injuries and Worley is charged with murder.
