PERRY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — The man facing a rape charge in connection to a woman's body found at a Hazard park is now facing a murder charge.
Anthony Lewis, 45, was arrested Monday in connection to the death of Marlena Holland.
Police said they found her body at the Bobby Davis Museum and Park on Sunday.
Officials said Holland and Lewis knew each other and that both had been staying at the Hope House.
Lewis has an extensive criminal history, including a previous kidnapping conviction.
Lewis has been scheduled for an arraignment in the Perry County Court on July 23.
