LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police in Lexington said a man was hospitalized after being shot early Monday on the city's northeast side.
Authorities were called out about 5:40 a.m. to Devonia and Bryan avenues to reports of man who had been shot.
First responders found a man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. He was taken to the University of Kentucky Medical Center for treatment.
Police say the victim told them he had been shot in nearby Castlewood Park.
Authorities said they have not been able to establish a crime scene and no suspects have been identified.
