LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A man was approached Monday morning at the 300 at the Circle Apartment Homes and robbed.
The male suspect approached him in the parking lot, pulled out a gun and demanded money.
The victim gave him the money and his cell phone. At some point during the incident, the suspect started firing shots.
The victim was hit and taken to the hospital. The back window of the victim's car was also hit by gunfire.
The victim said he does not know who robbed and shot him.
The suspect was described as a white male in his 20s and was wearing a black University of Kentucky jacket.
