LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — The family of Marco Shemwell was honored ahead of the University of Kentucky's football season opener.
Marco's brother, Maximo Shemwell, led the UK Cat Walk before the game against Toledo at Kroger Field.
He rode in the new Lift Them Up Ride, a cart designed by UK football player Luke Fortner and Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky engineers.
Each cat walk this season will feature special patients from UK Children's hospital.
