November has been off to a chilly start. That will change into the start of the new week as temperatures moderate slightly. Even tonight won't be as cold as previous nights with lows in the upper 20s to mid 30s. Monday will be a milder day with a high of 60°. The day will begin with sunshine and end with more clouds as a cold front drops in. High temperatures will drop back into the mid 50s on Tuesday as the clouds part. We'll sneak in one more mild day before a big late-week weather maker.
The second cold front of the week will approach on Thursday. Rain will be fed in from the south. There is still some model uncertainty on how quickly the rain will exit Thursday night. One solution is that the much colder air catches up with the precipitation and parts of the area see a mix or light snow showers Friday morning. We'll be watching this time frame closely. What we do know is the next big chill will follow with a December-like feel on Friday. Temperatures will quickly rebound over next weekend.
