WAYNE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police in Wayne County arrested two people after they found drugs worth more than $50,000 in their hotel room.
According to the Monticello Police Department's Facebook page, they received a tip and executed a search warrant inside a room at Best Western/Lake Cumberland Inn on KY 90 East Sunday at 8:00a.m.
Officers seized one and a half pounds of crystal meth with a street value of more than $50,000, eight grams of suspected cocaine, more than $5,000 in cash, a handgun and a pick-up.
Officers arrested Barney Warner and Savanna Sullivan.
